Oklahoma's Publishing Survey reports the data you need to develop and maintain competitive salary ranges for jobs in the publishing industry. Abbott, Langer Association Surveys has been a trusted source for nonprofit compensation data in specialty, or niche, markets to include publishing compensation data since 1967. We have long concentrated on specialty markets and now, as an ERI Economic Research Institute affiliate, we combine ERI's world-class compensation research with our own participant-provided publishing salary survey data to give you all the elements of compensation you need to identify how you stand in your external marketplace. Market-based pay data are presented for more than 175 benchmark job titles in the publishing industry in the 2008 Compensation in Publishing Survey. Data provided in the survey report were drawn from survey submissions of 23 participants in the publishing industry, data taken from ERI for-profit compensation databases, and pay data in tax-exempt public databases. Two pages for each benchmark job are given in the survey report showing total annual compensation, incentive/variable pay, survey mean, survey median, percentiles, a benchmark job description, rates of error, charts with graphed data points and regression lines, trended EEO-1 demographics, and Selected Characteristics of Occupation (SCO). The survey report consists of more than 350 pages.
