Florida's Political, Labor and International Organizations Salary Survey reports nonprofit compensation survey data for 112 benchmark jobs, accompanied by verifying source comparisons used by the IRS, courts, and thousands of subscribers. ERI Salary Surveys is the sponsor of this 2011 participant and digitized wage, incentive, and compensation survey for politcal, labor and international organization entities, available by organization size, nationally or by state.
IRS Form 990 has been dramatically revised as it relates to executive salaries; review the changed form, instructions, and rationale for the changes at the charities section of the IRS website. Organizations must report on the process of setting top management pay and, according to the IRS, that process should include the following:
Review and approval by a board;
No person involved in compensation decisions having a conflict of interest; and
Use of comparable data (salaries for like jobs in like organizations under like circumstances)
