AMSF Salary Report, 57th Edition

The AMS Foundation has just released its 57th annual AMSF Salary
Report. This publication provides salary information on 94
occupations, encompassing 137 jobs and 16,295
employees from 164 participating
offices/plants/stores. The report includes pay data on a national, regional,
and metropolitan basis, pointing out how incomes vary by geographic area, and
for 10 industries, seven ranges of number of employees, and five
levels of fiscal size.

For instance, General Clerks, Level 3, have an annual median income of
$64,350 in the Los Angeles (CA) area, 168% above the national average, but only
$21,388 in the Lincoln (NE) area, 11% below the national average. For Benefits
Specialists in the San Francisco (CA) area, the annual median income is $60,790,
40% above the national average, while in the Omaha (NE) area, the median income
is $30,286, 30% below the national average.
